The Respiratory Therapy Department is a 24-hour/7 day a week inpatient/outpatient service provide by the facility. Respiratory Therapy is staffed with licensed respiratory therapists trained to perform both inpatient and out patient pulmonary tests and respiratory-related treatments. Respiratory Therapists can be found in the intensive care unit, emergency room, and on the general nursing medical floor.

Patients with chronic lung conditions such as asthma, emphysema and cystic fibrosis, as well as those with other cardiopulmonary diseases are referred to Respiratory Therapy.

Diagnostic treatments include:
Pulse Oximetry
Oxygen therapy
Medicated Aerosol Treatments
Arterial Blood Sampling
Pulmonary Function Testing
COPD and any other cardiopulmonary disease education
Mechanical Ventilation
Non-invasive Mechanical Ventilation (CPAP/BIPAP)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
